PUBLIC NOTICE OF DESTRUCTION OF SPECIAL EDUCATION RECORDS

RECORDS DUE FOR DESTRUCTION
The Camp Verde Unified School District would like to inform all parents of students and former students who have been in special education programs of the destruction of records that are more than four years old on July 1, 2012. All special education data and information regarding students who have withdrawn, transferred, or graduated from the district will be kept for no more than four years. Records that are more than four years old of students no longer attending special education programs will also be destroyed. Parents of former students who have reached the age of 18 have the right to review the records and obtain copies of information needed. To schedule an appointment, call Jocelyn Alvey at 567-8071.
